Miami, the city that’s known for its unusually high quality of night life, with more clubs and bars than the eye can see, also has a large supply of celebrities. It is a perfectly splendid city in which to do some major star-gazing. Most people who have lived here for any amount of time have their own J-Lo sighting, or at least know someone who has.
There are plenty of famous people coming through the city all throughout the year. Many are in town to do local performances, or charity work, or sometimes they just come to unwind at the best Miami hotels like everyone else. Some stars like the city so much, they decide they have to stay.
That was certainly the case with Robin Gibb, one of the surviving members of the Bee Gees . In his lifetime, he’s seen a small history of popular music, and was in fact central to it. The rise and fall of disco may have been a short one, but it did leave its traces in popular music for every generation afterwards. He and his brothers not only made some great hits in their time, but they’ve also penned some of the most successful songs for other blockbuster artists. Not every celebrity has stories of sightings, but there are enough here to give it a constant star power that keeps the city thundering.
